Our first Therapy session of the New Year arrives on Saturday 8th with a quartet of DJs lined up to educate, stimulate and entice the cerebral senses. Those charged with the responsibility include Jojo Flores, Halo Varga, Ed Dunn and DJ ALA… Montreal’s Jojo Flores is well known to Cielo regulars having built a steady following in the city after num…erous acclaimed sets in recent years culminating in being voted the Best International DJ four years running by NYC’s Undaground Archives… Halo’s career in dance music has always been about evolution. His sonic education and progression throughout his professional life has contributed to his metamorphosis both as a DJ and producer. Hailing from Chicago, he’s credited with a diverse and remarkably long list of productions, remixes and collaborations, along with a stable and successful independent record label in CityDeep Music, prestigious residencies and a globetrotting DJ schedule… Ed Dunn (resident of 3 Degrees Global) is also an accomplished producer. Most recently paired with Ethan White (Tortured Soul), the act known as dunnEASY have enjoyed a handful of top selling soulful house releases including the club favorites ‘Won’t Stop’, featuring Monique Bingham, and the Leslie Carter-sung ‘Reach For The Sky’… San Diego-based DJ ALA loves to take his audience on a deep and uplifting journey. Influenced by soul, funk, and disco at an early age, ALA was taught in the San Francisco Bay Area to use the turntable as his instrument to relay the message in the music. One highly exciting and even more enjoyable night of therapy is promised.
